I owned a very nice, reliable, 2013 Toyota 4Runner SR5. I knew I’d do better by selling it on my own. I ran ads and put it on Facebook Marketplace but to be honest I got tired of all the spam and crazy lowball offers so I looked tor a more stress free option. I contacted David at Tazewell Motors after finding his website and reading about his very simple and straightforward explanation of selling on consignment. I brought my 4Runner over for him to check it out. They did a light detail, cleaned the foggy headlights and advertised it until it sold. I got way more than I would’ve on a trade somewhere and was more than willing to pay David the percentage of his consignment fee. There were no surprises from start to finish. He was a great guy to deal with every step of the way. Funny, positive, honest, and treated me like family. If you are trying to sell your vehicle on your own, you should talk to David about letting him help sell it on consignment.

As a first time car buyer from a dealership my honest review: Absolutely amazing process! Both David and Deandra were extremely pleasant to work with and very patient with me due to some banking issues that made the process take a little longer than expected. Not to mention the car is AMAZING!!! Great quality, great price and great people!!! 11/10 recommend.

My car was totaled and I spent days driving around, trying to find a car and having to deal with a bunch of BS at dealerships. I stumbled upon Tazewell Motors online and decided to check it out. They ended up being closed the day we went to the surrounding area but we decided to try calling to see if there was anything they could do since we were from out of town. David took time out of his personal day to come show us a couple of cars we were interested in. He was so friendly and welcoming, and very upfront about everything. He treats everybody like family. He didn’t add on a bunch of BS charges to his cars that are in practically new condition. We ended up really liking the Chevy Cruz but my bank was merging with another, so I couldn’t buy that day. He was so understanding and was able to hold it for me till I could get up there the next day with a check. He made the whole process super easy and made sure to answer all of my questions. Honestly wish I would’ve found his place sooner. I highly recommend Tazewell motors.

David Norman of Tazwell Motors provided me with the best customer service I’ve received in any dealership. I had been looking for a manual car for my wife for over two months and I was about to lose all hope!
